Living and working from her home studio and gallery, Maureen Hales is an artist based in Port Macquarie on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales, Australia. She is a painter of traditional and contemporary works with an inspiration drawn from the magic and beauty of the area that surrounds her.
Painting is her passion and has led her on an amazing and continuing journey of discovery through many different artistic styles from portraits in the beginning, to her most recent contemporary works.
